Are you in that point of your life when all you have in your heart is resentment and anguish against humanity and the whole world? You are not alone. A lot of people are on that stage right now. Many struggle. Many people face battles that seem to crush their faith into pieces.

These are the moments when we need to realize that we are not really alone all through out these battles. We must always keep in mind that Jesus, the Son of the Living God, is with us. He carries us in his arms when we can no longer keep our strength. Yeah, just like what The Footprints In The Sand by Mary Stevenson tells us.

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
‘You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?’

The Lord replied,
‘The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.’

In addition to that, I want to share with you these amazing bible verses to lift your spirit up! Come on my friend, I do not want you to be sad. I want to share with you the joy that I find in my Lord Jesus.

John 16:33: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world”.

Isaiah 41:10: “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand”.

Job 5:11: “The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety”

Philippians 4:6: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done”.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”.

These are just few of the many encouraging messages that we can find in the bible. Problems naturally come. They are inevitable. They are really part of our lives. But it does not mean that we dwell in these trials and make our lives stay in misery forever. We have a refuge in Jesus, our Lord. Call upon Him and He will attend to you.

Thank you Father for the gift of Your Son Jesus. We pray that we strengthen our faith and hope in You each day. Help us always to remember that you are always on our side whatever the circumstances may be. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
